A native of South River, New Jersey, Mr. Theismann is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he won All-American honors as quarterback. He played in 163 consecutive games for the Washington Redskins and leads the team with a total of 25,206 yards passing, 2,044 completions, and 3,331 attempts. He has been honored as NFL Man of the Year, Most Valuable Player of the NFL, Most Valuable Player in the Pro Bowl, Bert Bell Memorial Award, GTE Academic Hall of Fame, and was recently inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Since his retirement as a football player, Joe Theismann has built a reputation as an expert sports analyst for ESPN. Mr. Theismann is on St. Jude's Sports Advisory Committee and actively involved with the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital charities.
